Declan McKenna’s got a release date for his debut album, and a brand new ‘Brazil’ vid too

But seriously, that artwork. Dec, you cad.

Here he comes! After a sneaky reveal of the title earlier this week, Declan McKenna has announced the full details of his debut album ‘What Do You Think About The Car?’.

Dec’s much anticipated full-length will drop on 21st July via Columbia. It was recorded – bar three tracks – with mega-producer James Ford. One of the others, album closer ‘Listen To Your Friends’, was ‘done’ with ex-Vampire Weekend maestro Rostam Batmanglij. That’s cool.

Alongside the announcement comes the reveal that Dec’s going right back to where it started, releasing ‘Brazil’ as his new (but not really new, but still, new in ‘release schedule terms’) single. The track that kickstarted it all, it comes alongside a new video that you can check out below.

And then we have the artwork. Seriously. Someone throw some water on us. Something round here is smouldering.
