We all sort of know it’s coming eventually. There’s no way Oasis won’t perform together again. With rumours around Liam Gallagher’s debut solo show last night, and Glastonbury featuring both him and his brother, it’s starting to feel like the pieces are coming back together – even if both parties have solo albums to come later this year.
But perhaps things will happen even quicker than that. This weekend, Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester concert takes place at Old Trafford Cricket Ground. In aid of the families affected by the attack last Monday, it’s featuring all kinds of huge names – from Ariana herself to Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and The Black Eyed Peas.
And one of the latter may just have given away an Oasis reunion.
The band’s song ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ has become a sort of unofficial anthem for the city over the last week, with impromptu sing-a-longs taking place.
Now, Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas has tweeted out the poster for the event. In amongst all the expected names is one handle we weren’t aware of.

And here’s a screen grab, just in case the tweet gets deleted. (We think of everything – Ed.)
Look! @Oasis!
Now, maybe our Taboo is too busy to look up Noel or Liam’s handle. Maybe he just knows them as ‘those guys from that band’ and one or the other is showing up. Maybe he thinks Manchester is their turf so it’s only nice to say he’s popping round. Or maybe…
You never know.
Update: The original tweet was deleted and replaced:

Ah yes. He accidentally slipped and typed in the name of Manchester’s most iconic band of the last twenty five years. Easily done, really. We’ve all been there.
