Die Antwoord did not enjoy Reading & Leeds: “We will never be playing at your festivals ever again”

They criticise the event for being “disrespectful”.

Die Antwoord performed at Reading yesterday (Friday 26th August), and Leeds today (Saturday 27th August), and despite loving their time onstage, they didn’t enjoy much else.

Posting on Instagram this afternoon, the band’s Ninja (pictured at Reading) criticised those working the festival as “disrespectful and up your own arses” and demanded an apology, or else they wouldn’t be back.

“We regret to inform you that we will never be playing at your festivals ever again,” he says. “There’s obviously a reason why A$AP ROCKY, TRAVIS SCOTT, FETTY WAP, and G-EASY all pulled out of your festival.” Read the full post below.

Die Antwoord’s new album ‘Mount Ninji And Da Nice Time Kid’ will be released on 16th September.
