Her’s are today sharing their latest slice of warming, laid-back pop with new track ‘Marcel’ – check it out below, first on Dork.
It’s the perfect soundtrack for relaxing in this afternoon’s balmy autumn sun, and it comes with a story too: the song was once called ‘David Seaman’, but now acts in tribute to someone else after the band found a wallet at a thrift store that once belonged to a chap called Marcel. Sadly, the boys later looked him up online only to find he was deceased.
Of the track, the duo (sort of) explain:
“Mesmerising,
Authentic,
Reckless,
Caring,
Elegant
and Lynch Like!
Take a journey through time, to a warm Indian summer in Luxembourg with your new moustached freünd, M.A.R.C.E.L.”
‘Marcel’ follows on from singles ‘Dorothy’ and ‘What Once Was’.
