Dua Lipa has cancelled a number of Australian performances due to urgent dental surgery.
Currently supporting Bruno Mars on his 2018 Australian tour, Dua has been adised by doctors to undergo an “immediate” dental operstion, so has cancelled scheduled appearances over the next couple of days in Brisbane (14th, 15th March).
“I’m so sorry to have to cancel some of my support shows with Bruno,” Dua explains. “I’ve been performing with an awful pain due to my wisdom teeth and as advised by my dentist and oral surgeon I have to have them imminently removed.
“I have been enjoying this tour so much and am upset that life has gotten in the way but hopefully I’ll have a speedy recovery and make it back as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding xx.”
Dua Lipa has a headline show scheduled in Sydney for next Wednesday, 21st March. That’s apparently currently still going ahead. Fans are advised to keep an eye on Dua’s socials for further updates.
