Everything Everything played a secret set at Glastonbury last night (22nd June).
Nah, it’s not like anyone warned you about that.
Taking to the William’s Green tent, they were following up on a run of intimate shows around the UK over the past few days, as they get ready to release their new album ‘A Fever Dream’.
They played two new songs from the record, lead single ‘Can’t Do’, and totally new cut ‘New Deep’.
Talking to the BBC after, the band explained they couldn’t keep the set totally secret. “Somewhere puts a schedule up a week prior anyway so if you look it up it’s actually there,” frontman Jonathan Higgs offered.
Everything Everything played:
‘Night Of The Long Knives’
‘Kemosabe’
‘Regret’
‘Spring/Sun/Winter/Dread’
‘Cough Cough’
‘New Deep’
‘Can’t Do’
‘Distant Past’
‘No Reptile’
‘A Fever Dream’ is set for release on 18th August.
