Fans of The 1975 are taking the band’s digital teasing into the real world

Get out your sticky tape, you lot.

If there’s one thing we can count on, it’s the fact that fans of The 1975 like a bit of buzz. If there’s a second, it’s that they’ll take their love of the band to the furthest extremes.

Combine the two, and you get a cross over of the digital and real world that does the band’s current teasing proud.

To catch up, The 1975 have recently been dropping all kinds of hints, building up to what we suspect is their third album ‘Music For Cars’. Part of that are four cryptic images, originally hidden within their website and later posted to social media.

Given they fit the template of posters that have started to appear all over the place, fans have taken it upon themselves to spread the message. Printing them out, they’ve now started to stick them up. We’re talking worldwide here, too.

While you lot get your sticky tape out (you can find the images here), we’ll remain on high alert for the next movements from Matty, George, Adam and Ross. They’ve been reasonably quiet for a few days now. With 1st June getting closer and closer, there’s no way it’ll last.
