Father John Misty has announced a string of UK headline dates

The November run follows the release of latest album ‘Pure Comedy’ just a few weeks back

Prepare to head to church, Father John Misty is set to hold court with a string of UK headline shows confirmed for this November.

Sure to be packed full of that unmistakable showmanship and swagger we’ve come to know and love, the man otherwise known as Josh Tillman will kick things off in Edinburgh on November 1st, before heading through Glasgow and Manchester before rounding things out with a stellar night at London’s Eventim Apollo (y’know, Hammersmith Apollo to you and me).

It comes hot off the release of Father John Misty’s third LP ‘Pure Comedy’ at the start of April, a staggering release which we thought was pretty good if we say so ourselves. Chatting about the album and reaction to it in this month’s magazine, Josh explained that “since some of the songs have come out, plenty of people have said, ‘I don’t think anyone cares what fucking Father John Misty has to say.’ There are people who completely despise me and think that I’m the last person in the world who should be a mouthpiece for how to move forward. They don’t want it to be me. I think the response to this album is going to be really polarised.”

With a headline slot also lined up at this year’s End Of The Road, expect a whole ton of worshippers to be flocking to the Father John party (us included).
