Oh heavenly Father – massive thanks for delivering the goods again yeah.. with the one and only Father John Misty taking to US telly for a spellbinding version of new number ‘Mr Tillman’.
Taking to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, ‘ol Father J looked ahead to the release of new album ‘God’s Favourite Customer’ by teaming up with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus to perform lead number ‘Mr Tillman’ for the eyes of many a US telly viewer.
‘God’s Favourite Customer’, the fourth record to come from Father John Misty, is set for release on June 1st – just over a year after the release of third album ‘Pure Comedy’. Along with the previously unveiled ‘Disappointing Diamonds Are The Rarest Of Them All’ and ‘Just Dumb Enough To Try’ – expect it to be an absolute corker and go down a treat when he returns at the end of the month to the UK for a stellar headline show at Halifax’s The Piece Hall on May 26th. Slotting in-between appearances at Radio 1’s Biggest Weekend and All Points East – Father John Misty will then be back AGAIN in October for a string of headline shows.
