Look, ‘the bands’. You know the rules. You post something on social media, and your mates at Dork will turn it into capital-letters News with a side salad of wild speculation. There’ll possibly even be an OTT hype chaser. It’s what we do. We’ll never apologise.
So, colour us a rabid shade of excited red when we note that Fickle Friends are teasing a new creative spurt over on Twitter-dot-com, with this photo of a whiteboard full of possible new song titles.
“We’re in a super great headspace at the moment,” they write in the accompanying message. “Excited by how releases are changing cos of Spotify and stuff. Thinking about releasing an EP at the end of the summer….too soon?”

NO, FICKLE FRIENDS. IT IS NOT TOO SOON TO FOLLOW UP YOUR SMASH HIT DEBUT ALBUM.
Sorry. Caps do mean shouting. We’re excited here.
Some may say the band are being ‘Delusional’, but we’d say ‘Get Over Yourself’ – ‘For Goodness Sake’, more bangers from Fickle Friends are enough to make it feel like it’s our ‘Birthday’.
We’ll stop now.
Earlier, the band also posted a snippet of what they’re working on ‘in the studio’. Someone pass the turbo banger stickers. We need to officially label something.
