Former Klaxon and current Mr Keira Knightly James Righton is making a solo return.
Going under the guise of Shock Machine, his first self titled track has none of the day-glo hyperactivity of his former band. Instead it’s more timeless, slightly woozy, slightly psychedelic faire. Delivered alongside an oceanic video (via Dazed) from director Saam Farahmand, it preceeds a debut EP recorded in a cabin in the south of France alongside long term Klaxons collaborator James Ford.
