After premiering a string of tricks over the past few weeks, Francis & The Lights has unveiled his debut studio album online, just moments before his acclaimed set at Chance The Rapper’s Magnificent Colouring Day festival.
‘Farewell, Starlite!’ includes tracks such as ‘See Her Out’, ‘Thank You’ and the internet-frenzied ‘Friends’ featuring Bon Iver. With production credits on the album ranging from Rostam Batmanglij, Ariel Rechtshaid, Kanye West, Justin Vernon himself, Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat amongst others – it’s a pretty star-studded affair as the lights have well and truly come out for Francis.
Full of glitchy electro flourishes and euphoric highs, it’s a pretty stunning insight into the world of Francis Farewell Starlite (aka the man behind it all), and just leaves us wanting to see that live show even more.
