Francobollo’s new track ‘Hoo Ha’ is lots of fun

Lots of fun, but about political drama…

Francobollo are back with a new single, their first material since last year’s debut album ‘Long Live Life’.

‘Hoo Ha’ was produced by Charlie Andrew (alt-J, Marika Hackman), and it precedes both a trip to SXSW, and the completion of their next record. They’ve also a launch party at Sticky Mikes Frog Bar, Brighton on 28th March.

Frontman Simon says of the track: “’Hoo Ha’ is a song that came out of a jam. It sounded like a riff that Hoo Ha’s (one of our favourite bands, and dear friends of ours) would play. We named it ‘Hoo Ha’ straight away. When it came to write lyrics, I thought: What does Hoo Ha mean to me? Immediately I thought of the Houses of Parliament, and the way British politics are. And here it is.”
