Get a ‘Greys’ eye-view with this new one from Willie J Healey

It’s another distinctive alt-pop kicker from Mr J Healey.

Willie J Healey is once again packing the charming alt-pop anthems with latest number ‘Greys’

Soaring in its glorious rawness, ‘Greys’ is a rough and ready groover that hits straight to the bones, sounding like The Clash would if they ate a sweet bowl of Cheerios and headed straight to the garage to record. As Willie himself says, the track is about “the feeling of routine and boredom. It’s about believing that nobody would even notice if you were abducted, in this case by aliens.”

Pesky aliens.

Following on from standout hitters ‘Best Friend’s Sister’ and ‘Would You Be’, it’s just another shining example why Willie is already sounding like the songwriter 2017 needs. He’ll be headlining the next Slacker night at London’s Kamio on March 24th, before heading out on a run of shows with Palace – including supporting them at our upcoming Dork Live show in Reading on April 26th.

We’ll be off over here learning the words to chant back for then,
