Girl Ray have dropped their latest track ‘Stupid Things’, check it out below.
“It’s about crushing really hard on someone,” says lead vocalist and guitarist Poppy Hankin, “and finding myself doing fucking ridiculous things to feel like we’ve got some kind of connection. Watching films that they mentioned fleetingly or ordering their favourite drink at a bar. Very stupid but happens every single time, haha.”
The trio have also announced a new headline show at the Lexington in London, on 23rd May. It follows on from a tour with Teleman, which kicked off yesterday in Birmingham and calls in at Newcastle tonight.
‘Stupid Things’ is the follow-up to ‘Trouble’, the band’s first single for Moshi Moshi.
