Glastonbury 2017 kicks off proper today with Radiohead, Lorde, The xx and more

There’s also an interesting looking TBA slot on the Park Stage later this evening.

Glastonbury Festival kicks off proper today (23rd June), as the main music stages fire into life.

Tonight sees Radiohead returning to headline the Pyramid Stage. Their much anticipated set comes on the same day they drop their 20th anniversary ‘OK Computer’ reissue ‘OKNOTOK’, which could see them bring out a set to rival their very best on the legendary stage.

They’ll be assisted by The xx, who appear second from the top on the Pyramid, with Royal Blood, First Aid Kit and Blossoms all set to perform during the day. A minute’s silence at 10:40am will come before Hacienda Classical’s festival opening performance.

Highlights elsewhere include Lorde, George Era, Halsey, Glass Animals, Circa Waves and Charli XCX on the Other Stage, with Black Honey, Dua Lipa, Declan McKenna, The Lemon Twigs, Future Islands, Shame and Dutch Uncles appearing elsewhere around the festival.

There’s also an interesting looking TBA slot on the Park Stage later this evening.

You’ll be able to keep up with everything that’s going on here on Dork, with live streams of the major stages available via the BBC’s iPlayer.
