Glastonbury ends with huge sets from Coldplay, LCD Soundsystem and Grimes

Is it really over already? Christ that went quick!

Glastonbury pulled the curtain on another huge year with a Sunday full of massive sets from the likes of Coldplay, LCD Soundsystem, Grimes and Beck to ensure those mud-filled campers had one last blow-out.

Coldplay played a career-spanning set that saw tributes to Muhammed Ali and Viola Beach with special appearances from The Bee Gees’ Barry Gibb and Michael Eavis (performing the biggest karaoke version of ‘My Way’ ever seen). You can check it out in full here.

On the Other Stage, LCD Soundsystem (watch) returned to UK soil with a greatest hits set that had enough tears flowing in joy to make the downpours of the festival seem like childs play, whilst Grimes tore The Park stage apart with an unpredictable and full-on electro spectacle. With PJ Harvey, Mac DeMarco, Bat For Lashes, Yeas & Years and more all bringing some sunshine to proceedings, it rounded off one of the most signifiant Glastonbury’s of recent times.

Sets from across the weekend are all up on the trusty BBC iPlayer to enjoy whenever we feel like over the next week. So if you’re about to jump in the bath and fancy some Wolf Alice – then you can bloody well do it!
