Glastonbury has confirmed it will take a year off in 2018, with 2017 tickets on sale next month.
The festival will take one of its fallow years, “in order to give the farm, the village and the Festival team the traditional year off”. Originally, plans were mooted to hold an alternate event on another site during the gap, but an announcement reveals those are now off.
There’s still next year’s event to get excited about, though. Tickets for that will go on sale at the start of October. Coach and Ticket packages begin at 6pm on Thursday, 6th October with general admission tickets on sale at 9am on Sunday, 9th October.
Those wishing to attend will need to register in advance before noon on Monday, 3rd October. Tickets will be charged at £238 plus a £5 booking fee.
Glastonbury 2017 takes place between 21st and 25th June 2017. You can find full details here.
