Gorillaz are going to release their next album in 2017, claims the band’s Jamie Hewlett.
Speaking to a fan, who then posted details of the conversation on Instagram, he’s reported to have said the new material is “really fuckin’ special” and “can’t be rushed”. Read the full post below.
Hewlett also recently shared two shorts clips of the band in the studio , confirming that “2016 is going to be Gorillaz all year”. And they might be working with Vic Mensa .
The band’s most recent album ‘The Fall’ was released as a free download on Christmas Day 2010.
