Great Ytene premiere new track, ‘Fixed Victim’

Catch the band on tour around the UK this April.

Great Ytene are sharing another song from their upcoming album – check out ‘Fixed Victim’ below, first on Dork.

A driving, psychedelia-tinged number that worms its way into your head and demands repeat plays, ‘Fixed Victim’ is the latest cut from full-length ‘Locus’; the follow-up to 2014’s self-titled debut, due out on 17th February via Faux Discx.

The album was recorded in East London at Holy Mountain with producer Iggy B, and mixed by MJ from Hookworms at Suburban Home Studios in Leeds.

“It’s a dark repetitive track,” the band explain, “with the drums really making it what it is. When MJ mixed the track he cut it shorter than we first intended, but created this swirling wall of vocals that drifts into the abyss, a welcomed surprise!”

Great Ytene also have a new tour coming up, and an album launch show on 17th February at The Lexington in London. Catch them at:
