Latvian festival Positivus has announced a whole raft of bands for it’s 2016 event.
Iggy Pop, M83 and Ellie Goulding will headline the Baltic event, with Grimes, The Japanese House, Wolf Alice, Years & Years, AIR, Mercury Rev and Hot Chip also amongst the acts appearing.
Festival organiser Ģirts Majors says: “[I’m] confident that this year’s artists will deliver plenty of surprises and excitement, with visitors having to make effort to catch all the fleetingly dazzling festival highlights.”
Other acts appearing at Positivus include Seinabo Sey, Ho99o9, San Fermin, Arthur Beatrice, Choir Of Young Believers, Oh Wonder, C Duncan, Charles Bradley, John Newman, Richard Hawley, Postaal, Cigarettes After Sex, Alise Joste, Ozols, Dzelzs Vilks, Carnival Youth, Mielavs un Pārcēlāji, Skyforger, DaGamba, Sattellites, LV, Rīgas Modes, and Super Besse.
Positivus 2016 takes place 15-17 July in Salacgrīva, Latvia. Tickets are on sale now from €75.
