David Byrne’s first solo album in fourteen years has arrived.
The record, titled ‘American Utopia’, was made with producers Brian Eno and Rodaidh McDonald (The xx, King Krule), and has a list of contributors that features Oneohtrix Point Never, Jam City, Doveman and Jack Peñate.
Speaking about the album, Byrne said: “Is this meant ironically? Is it a joke? Do I mean this seriously? In what way? Am I referring to the past or the future? Is it personal or political?”
Plus lots of other stuff.
