Have a slice of Cabbage’s new number – ‘Gibraltar Ape’

These chaps are about to have a massive summer, and they bloody know it

Cabbage have unveiled yet another steam-rolling number with new one ‘Gibraltar Ape’.

The track, produced by James Skelly of The Coral, follows-up the trio of EPs released last year (‘Uber Capitalist Death Trade’, ‘Necroflat In The Palace’ and ‘Terrorist Synthesiser’) and is yet another bold gambit that strikes Cabbage out as one of those bands you’ll need to keep coming back to as they lay their path over the next 12 months.

Describing the track, Lee Broadbent of the band said that “‘Gibraltar Ape’ is a ‘Conversational pub paradox. A tireless crusade to be freed of inner constraints. Starring John Hall and the town of Huddersfield”

That upcoming year includes a huge array of big-time live shows, starting through with the final dates of their current headline run, before heading off to support Blossoms on their big ‘ol dates before returning for more shows in April and then headlining even more dates in June. Basically, they’ll be impossible to miss.

Cabbage are also set to play at this year’s Handmade Festival, taking place between April 29th-30th.

Check out ‘Gibraltar Ape’ below, before running through the shows where tickets are still available. Trust us, they’ll be sold out in no time.
