Her ‘Swim’ to keep winning with their new video

“Swimming against the tide and walking against the flow means encouraging difference.”

French duo Her have dropped a brand new video alongside their latest EP.

The clip is for Swim, the new single lifted from ‘Her Tape #2’, and “explores the idea of a modern-day Joan of Arc”.

“Swimming against the tide and walking against the flow means encouraging difference,” says Victor Solf, who makes up one half of Her alongside Simon Carpentier. “We’re living in troubled times marked by renewed violence, social regression and the rise of extremism. As artists, we wanted to put across a positive message, encouraging people to think differently and accept their own and others’ uniqueness.”

‘Her Tape #2’ (stream that here) follows up on 2016’s – wait for it – ‘Her Tape #1’ (see what they did there – Ed), which to date has been streamed over 4 million times. Her are set to play Live at Leeds this April and Latitude in July, with a show at London’s Borderline before all that on April 26th.
