Here’s a menacing new one from Abattoir Blues

‘Fading’ is the other half of their debut A-side single – out today (November 4th)

Taking the bull by the horns and relishing in the darker side of life at the moment, Abattoir Blues have become a fresh new band that we can’t keep our eyes off – and that’s only going to continue with new number ‘Fading’.

Full of post-punk dread and a sense of uncontrollable rage, ‘Fading’ is the confrontational hook we need right about now with everything we’ve got going on.

Speaking about the track, frontman Harry Waugh said

“The opening lyric “insults are all you’re breathing, lies are your currency” summarises the sense of shame I felt about being British after witnessing how ethnic minorities were being portrayed in the press and by people around me.”

‘Fading’ sits as the second half of their debut A-Side single release, with the previously shared ‘Sense’ sitting as the perfect double whammy for a dark November night.

Abattoir Blues have recently come off a run of UK dates supporting The Big Moon, and will round out the year with some opening slots with The Wytches in Brighton, Bristol and Leeds before appearing at The Great Escape’s new First Fifty event on November 24th.
