Hookworms have announced some new dates in support of their latest album ‘Microshift’.
The full-length was written and recorded after the band were forced to rebuild their Suburban Homes Studio in Leeds following a severe flood in 2015.
Speaking about the record, Hookworms’ MJ says: “All of our records are to an extent about mental health. Largely this is an album about loss but also about maturing, accepting your flaws and the transience of intimacy.”
The new shows will take place in October and November, with the band will be joined by special guests including Factory Floor, Ought and Blanck Mass. They’ll also play All Points East, Sea Change, End of the Road and more across the summer.
The new dates are as follows:
OCTOBER
13 Bristol, UK – SWX w/ Special Guest
NOVEMBER
10 Birmingham, UK – The Crossing w/ Blanck Mass
17 Manchester, UK – O2 Ritz w/ Factory Floor
24 London, UK – O2 Forum w/ Ought
