Ibeyi have shared another new song from their upcoming album.
‘Me Voy’ features Mala Rodriguez, and is the follow up to lead track ‘Deathless’, shared earlier this month.
“English, Spanish and Yoruba inspire us to write different kinds of music and lyrics,” says Naomi.
“We needed to sing in Spanish to set a sensual tone for this song. When women feel sensual, not only is it sexy, but also powerful,” adds Lisa-Kaindé.
The French-Cuban twins’ second full-length, ‘Ash’ will be released on 29th September via XL Recordings.
