Current Dork cover stars INHEAVEN have dropped a new video for ‘Stupid Things’.
The track is taken from the band’s recent self-titled album, which was released last month.
Writing about the clip, they explain: “We think the best movies make you feel something more. They should be able to tap into your psyche, force out a feeling you can’t explain, and should make you laugh and cry in equal measures. This was the premise for ‘Stupid Things’. We always imagined this song soundtracking our own coming-of-age film, so the only way that felt really natural was to collect lots of cinematic moments that express the sentiment of the song and put them together to make our own smorgasbord of emotion. We wanted the song and video to make you feel in love and heartbroken at the same time. As we said before, ‘Stupid Things’ is a song for daydreamers, and should feel like a school crush that will last forever. We hope John Hughes would approve.”
