It got a bit heated at Glastonbury 2017 yesterday

South Western Ambulance Service treated 38 people in the queues waiting to get in.

Glastonbury got a bit heated yesterday (21st June). We know, shock.

As the heatwave that struck the country sent Worthy Farm to what felt like boiling point, some fans needed medical attention. The fact wouldn’t have been helped due to large queues following increased security checks.

South Western Ambulance Service treated 38 people in the queues waiting to get in, and are advising fans to make sure they have appropriate gear.

A SWAS representative told the BBC: “If you are heading to the Glastonbury Festival it is really important you take plenty of water with you, wear a hat and put on suncream.”
