It looks like Kasabian are going to knock Ed Sheeran off the top of the UK Album Charts this week

It looks like Kasabian are set to end Ed Sheeran’s reign at the top of the UK Albums Chart this week.

The band released their sixth album last Friday (5th May), and they’re looking for their fifth consecutive chart topper.

There’s just over 20,000 ‘equivalent sales’ between the two releases at the halfway mark according to the Official Charts Company, as ‘For Frying Out Loud’ seeks to topple ‘÷’ from its nine week stint at number one.
