Scunthorpe! Arcade Fire! Scunthorpe!

It’s officially official. Arcade Fire are heading to the UK to play a show in Scunthorpe.

Rumours started circulating last night that the band would be appearing in the unlikely location, before the show popped up on their official website. Now they’ve confirmed it’s definitely, 100% not a wind-up.

But that’s not the only show they’re announcing this morning. They’re also heading to Scotland too!

The band, over for a run of European festivals, including a headline appearance at the Isle Of Wight Festival, will play Scunthorpe’s Baths Hall on Wednesday 7th June, before heading to Edinburgh Corn Exchange a day later on Thursday 8th June.

The news comes fresh off the back of reports the band road tested half a dozen new songs at a secret Montreal show last weekend.

Tickets for the two dates go on sale tomorrow, 17th May.
