It’s the last year of Secret Garden Party

Time to say goodbye to Cambridgeshire’s worst kept secret.

Secret Garden Party founder and ‘Head Gardener’ Freddie Fellowes has today (2nd March) announced via a post on the festival’s website that this year will be their last year.

In the long post, he talks about the changes the festival has undergone in its successful tenure, “Facebook, YouTube and Twitter had yet to be invented and no one knew what a boutique festival was, let alone Glamping. The Garden Party has defined and redefined outdoor events in the UK; we have all done this together as a collective of truly independent outsiders.”

Now in its fifteenth year, the boutique fest was one of the first of its kind. With past acts including Gorillaz, Florence + The Machine and Blondie amongst a plethora of others.

This final incarnation sees headliners Crystal Fighters, Metronomy and Toots & The Maytals, joined by Wild Beasts, Kate Nash, Fickle Friends, Peaches and Will Joseph Cook amongst a whole heap of others.

It looks set to be one hell of a farewell party, tickets are available now so get in quick for your chance to experience this gem of a fest.
