Jack White has finished recording his third album according to the man himself.
Delivering the keynote speech at Detroit’s ‘Making Vinyl’ event, White afterwards gave a status report on his next solo album. As reported by Billboard, the follow up to 2014’s ‘Lazaretto’ is “practically done, just some finishing touches.”
Although recording may have wrapped, that isn’t to say we’ll necessarily be hearing it straight away.
“It’s a bizarre one. I’ve just got to let it settle. I need to listen to it by myself. I haven’t been able to listen to it by myself for awhile.”
Fingers crossed it ‘settles’ quickly and Jack shares the fruit of his labours with the rest of us. As a solo artist White has released two albums, ‘Blunderbuss’ in 2012, and ‘Lazaretto’ in 2014.
