Jamie T is back with a brand new single.
Titled ‘Tinfoil Boy’, it’s the first new material from the South Londoner since last year’s ‘Magnolia Melancholia’ EP, with previous full length ‘Carry On The Grudge’ released back in 2014. The track received a debut spin on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show as her Hottest Record.
A new take from the usual for Jamie T, it was recorded in Detroit under “slightly different rules”. Speaking to Annie, he explained he’d been listening to Rage Against The Machine, and that the song features guest vocals from actor friend Florence Bell. He also doesn’t quite know how to play it live yet. Oh dear.
There’s no commitment on an album to follow, but from his response, it’s pretty obvious one is on its way.
