Jarvis Cocker’s BBC 6Music show is coming to an end

The final Sunday Service show will take place on 31st December.

Jarvis Cocker’s long-running 6Music show, the Sunday Service, is coming to an end.

“It’s not goodbye, it’s just farewell,” he says. “We wanted to say farewell properly and so we’re going to do a run of five extra-special shows throughout December, starting this Sunday. Let’s keep warm together.”

The show launched in 2010, with the final show scheduled for 31st December.

The news follows the recent announcement that Jarvis will act as the narrator for ABBA: Super Troupers, a brand new, immersive exhibition opening at the Southbank Centre on Thursday 14th December and running through to April 2018.

He’s also recently had a bash at Bingo calling.
