Jehnny Beth of Savages has announced a solo live date, is in t’studio with Bobby Gillespie

Savages titan Jehnny Beth is certainly up to something, with a solo live date confirmed for next month and some new pictures of her working in the studio with none other than Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie.

After storming 2016 with Savages’ second LP ‘Adore Life’, Jehnny confirmed that the band were “taking a break” towards the end of the year, revealing that she was working on a range of collaborative projects that would soon see the light of day.

Well, here is the light of day and here is the first inklings of what she’s been up to – with Jehnny sharing shots of her and good ol’ Bobby Gillespie in the studio.

So expect something stunning to emerge over the coming months, especially with a solo show confirmed for Jehnny in The Netherlands next month, where she’ll play a special piano show at Grauzone Festival on February 11th. Whatever it promises, you can guarantee it’ll be something special.
