The Flaming Lips and Ghostpoet are playing a new festival in London

There will also be comedy from Katherine Ryan, Mark Watson and more.

2018 will see the launch of a new London festival called Kaleidoscope.

The event will take place on 21st July, taking over both Alexandra Park and Palace.

The Flaming Lips and Ghostpoet will both play, along with Mystery Jets, the Go! Team, Beth Orton, London African Gospel Choir presents Graceland, Oh My God! It’s The Church, Beans On Toast, Xylaroo and Dat Brass.

There will also be ‘words and comedy’, from Dr. John Cooper Clarke, Katherine Ryan, Mark Watson, Andrew Maxwell, Caught By The River, LDN Talks, Bang Said The Gun, Jonny & The Baptists and Mike Garry.

Festival organiser Simon Fell says: “We’re delighted to bring a wealth of talent from across the creative sphere to Alexandra Park and Palace for Kaleidoscope.
