They’ve left it to the last possible moment, pretty much, but King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have kept their 2017 promise, and dropped the final of their five full-length albums.
‘Gumboot Soup’ follows on from February’s ‘Flying Microtonal Banana’, June’s ‘Murder of the Universe’, August’s ‘Sketches of Brunswick East’, and November’s ‘Polygondwanaland’. Someone deserves a sit down and a cup of tea after all that.
