Alex Turner’s seventh consecutive Number One record, the follow-up to 2008’s ‘The Age Of The Understatement’ won out the race, selling more than 7,000 vinyl copies in its first week.

Elsewhere in the chart, Pet Shop Boys‘Super’ debuts at 3, while Babymetal have become the highest charting Japanese band ever, hitting Number 15 with new album ‘Metal Resistance’. Mogwai’s ‘Atomic’ enters at 20, while Weezer’s self-titled ‘White’ album reaches 24.
