Laura Marling, The Staves and Conan Mockasin for Guy Garvey’s Meltdown Festival

Taking place at the Southbank Centre in London between 10th and 19th June, Robert Plant and I Am Kloot are amongst the other acts set to perform.

Laura Marling, The Staves and Conan Mockasin are both set to play this year’s Meltdown Festival, curated by Guy Garvey.

Taking place at the Southbank Centre in London between 10th and 19th June, Robert Plant and I Am Kloot are amongst the other acts set to perform, as well as a special closing performance that will see Garvey team up with the Led Zeppelin frontman, Nick Mulvey and Nadine Shah.

“I’ve not overthought it,” explains the Elbow frontman. “I’ve put together a bill I’d love to see and I’ve made sure there’s something for everyone. All time greats that have never been far from the cutting edge, to brand new talent worthy of more attention and some reunions I never thought I’d see. There’s plenty more still to announce but currently, alongside the music, we’ve got poetry and a ton of interactive events, and there is an overarching theme – boats.”
