New LCD Soundsystem music is one thing, but getting to see James Murphy’s electro-punk troupe put it into practice in a sort-of-live arena is something else entirely.
That’s what this week’s Saturday Night Live offered, as they performed their two new songs ‘Call The Police’ and ‘American Dream’.
According to James Murphy, that much anticipated reformation record is almost done – with the band kicking off a summer of shows and festival slots at Shaky Knees next week. This is happening.
