LIFE confirm details of debut album ‘Popular Music’ with the blistering new one ‘In Your Hands’

The visceral punk upstarts will release their call to arms on May 26th

Shaking the cage all over the place, Hull’s punk shakers LIFE have confirmed details of their debut album, along with unveiling explosive new one ‘In Your Hands’

Set to land on May 26th, ‘Popular Music’ is destined to be crammed full of state-of-the-nation addresses and infectious riot-laden hits, bringing to life the world LIFE have been laying out in each and every track they’ve released so far.

Talking about the album, frontman Mez Sanders-Green said: “Popular Music sounds like panic and anxiety, it’s the sound of shitting it about whatever happens next week, about what you can weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper. It’s an LP made up of the psyche of everyone who can see they’re getting fucked and there’s a lot of people getting fucked right now.”

Ahead of its release, LIFE will head out on an extensive UK headline tour through April, with appearances at Live At Leeds, Handmade and The Great Escape also confirmed in the run-up. Expect some loud and earth-shaking hooks, just how we like them.

LIFE’s run of headline dates look like:

02 King Tuts, Glasgow
03 Gullivers, Manchester
05 Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
06 Camden Assembly, London
