Liverpool up-and-comers Motherhood have dropped their debut video, for the track ‘Save Me’.

Released over the summer, the song showcases the band’s knack for upbeat indie-pop and infectious hooks.

A statement from the four-piece about the vid reads: “Motherhood’s debut music video for single ‘Save Me’ finds the boys in familiar surroundings.

“Exuding an easy confidence, frontman Evan Torrente frolics along to the upbeat pop track around the boys’ shared apartment. Shot in a slick one-shot style, Evan woefully recites the lyrics of unrequited teenage love to the camera, tongue firmly in cheek.

“The video combines polished camerawork with a rough and ready DIY charm that serves to encapsulate Motherhood’s musical juxtaposition of grandiose pop and guitar-driven indie.”
