Liverpool’s SPINN debut new track ‘Home’

It’s good for your ears.

The days are getting longer(ish), the festivals are gradually letting slip their line-ups, Easter eggs are half price in Tesco – it’s basically spring, right? Emerging with bleary eyes from a winter of hibernation, we’re all after something to lift our spirits. Something that’s going to make us soar. And, as if on cue, SPINN are answering our prayers.

Following on from their first two singles ‘Green Eyes’ and ‘Bliss’, ‘Home’ wipes away the cobwebs, shining up even the most gloomy of dispositions. Unencumbered with the baggage of being deep and meaningful, it’s aimed firmly on being a 10/10 banger – all sparkling hooks and ear-worm vibes. You can check it out below, first on Dork.

Speaking about the track, singer Jonathon Quinn says: “This one’s probably our most shallow track. We went out to create a pop tune with not much meaning behind it, which is different to our other stuff, which usually has some kind of message or secret meaning. You could probably over analyse it if you really wanted to, and hail it as an homage to house party romances or a love letter. But, to be honest it’s just meant to be something that’s good for the ears.”

‘Home’ will be released on 3rd March, with a single launch show at The Magnet in Liverpool with their pals Echo Beach.
