London’s Weird Milk premiere debut single, ‘This Close’

The up-and-coming four-piece share their Alex Turner-tinged debut.

London four-piece Weird Milk are today premiering their debut single ‘This Close’ – check it out below, first on Dork.

The harmony-laden number and love-song-of-sorts is out tomorrow (Friday, 17th February), and sees the band – Zach Campbell (Guitar/Vox), Alex Griffiths (Guitar/Vox), Charlie Vaughan (Drums/Vox) and Josh King (Bass/Vox) – singing to a girl who’s taken their fancy.

“‘This Close’ is the first song that Zach and I wrote together for Weird Milk,” says Charlie. “We had been listening to Martha and the Muffins’ ‘Echo Beach’ and wanted to recreate the nice effect the chorus had as a base for a track. It happened from there.”
