Beck’s pretty much making himself at home in the UK at the moment. First, a surprise show at London’s Omeara on Sunday and now he’s taken over Later… with Jools Holland with two dazzling live cuts.
Appearing on the show last night, the pop wizard first aired new number ‘Up All Night’ with the backing of an eight piece band – just days away from the release of his technicolour-splattered new album ‘Colors’ (out Friday if you weren’t too sure).
Then, throwing things back to the 90s, Beck rounded out the show with a sizzling version of classic favourite ‘Devil’s Haircut’. Not too shabby for a Tuesday night eh?
With ‘Colors’ out on Friday, Beck is set for another intimate London show tomorrow night (October 12th) at London’s Electric Ballroom.
