You Me At Six have been teasing their new album for a while now, sharing a strange Periscope stream that eventually read #NIGHTPEOPLE, and then mysterious images on Twitter – but little actual information has been shared.
This morning they announced details of an “underplay” autumn tour, set to kick off on 4th October at Bristol Academy, with the press release for the headline run reveals that the record will be released in 2017.
“The album,” it reads, “their fourth, was recorded in Nashville at Black Bird Studios with Grammy award winning producer Jacquire King (Kings Of Leon, James Bay) and mixed by Andrew Scheps (Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chilli Peppers).
“It is set for release early next year, more news to follow.”
The full-length – assumed to be called ‘Night People’ – is the follow up to 2014’s ‘Cavalier Youth’. Tickets for the tour will go on sale from 9am on Wednesday 24th August, with support on the dates coming from VANT.
