Mac DeMarco delivers ‘One More Love Song’… and announces the Mac DeMarco Fan Fiction contest

The sultry number comes with news that one lucky fan can win a drawing of Mac standing with them. Result.

With more grooves than anyone can shake a first out, Mac DeMarco has unveiled the slow-grooving new number ‘One More Love Song’.

Built across gentle piano lines and effortless lounge vibes, ‘One More Love Song’ follows on from ‘My Old Man’, ‘On The Level’ and ‘This Old Dog’ as revealed cuts from incoming new album (and similarly titled) ‘This Old Dog’ – out on May 5th.

Accompanying the news, Mac DeMarco has also announced a very special Mac DeMarco Fan Fiction contest, where fans can submit “a fun, original piece about anything Mac related” with the best piece winning a drawn picture of themselves with Mac pulled together by one of Mac’s favourite artists and an inclusion in the Fan Club Fanzine. Now that’s what you call a prize money can’t buy (unless Mac’s taking bribes, which in that case means we better start sending some money over sharpish)

Mac DeMarco is set to return to the UK for a string of live shows over the coming months, including two sold-out nights at London’s Brixton Academy on May 30th-31st, a festival headline slot at this year’s End Of The Road and a slew of shows in November too. You can read more on the life of Mac DeMarco in the new issue of Dork, which is out now y’know.
