‘On The Level’ is another prime slice of Mac action from incoming new album ‘This Old Dog’, set for release on May 5th. Chatting about the release, Mac explained how “this record has a lot to do with my family and my life right now and the way I’m feeling. One of the main goals for this record was trying to make sure I retained some kind of realness. That’s the bottom line.”
After two big-time headline nights at London’s Brixton Academy to mark the release on May 30th and 31st, and headline nights in Newcastle and Glasgow around his headline appearance at this year’s End Of The Road – Mac DeMarco has now confirmed a string of UK headline shows for November. Kicking off in Nottingham on November 20th, the run of dates will include nights in Liverpool, Glasgow (at the Barrowlands no less) and Manchester, with more sure to be arriving any day now.
