Matt Maltese is playing a tiny show in Peckham tonight, and has released a new song

He’s also confirmed his biggest headline show to date at London’s Scala.

Matt Maltese has loads of news this morning.

Not only has he released a new single – ‘Greatest Comedian’, listen below – he’s also announced a few London shows: he’ll play Peckham’s the Safehouse tonight (6th March), and his biggest headline show to date at the Scala on 6th June.

Matt’s currently working on his debut album, produced by Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado, and Alex Burey, so keep an eye out for news of that soon.

“It’s definitely a kind of anomaly on the album,” Matt says of the new track, “but it’s the song I always wanted to to be able to make. My close, sometimes sardonic friend listened to it the other day, and she heard the first five seconds and went, “Hello 2002”. I thought – yes I’ve done it.”
